The Midland MXT105 MicroMobile™ 2-Way Radio is the GMRS transceiver designed exclusively for use in your vehicle! The MXT105 takes the innovative features and clever styling of the original MXT100 and adds weather channels to the mix! It combines a full 5 watts with a detachable external magnetic mount mobile antenna for greater range and more power than available from the average GMRS portable handheld walkie talkie.

The MXT105 features 15 GMRS channels and 142 privacy codes for full access to all available frequencies on the General Mobile Radio Service plus 10 NOAA weather channels. It's compatible with most other makes and models of GMRS handheld radios, so if you already have one, the MXT 105 should fit right in.

The Midland MXT105 includes important features found on many popular handheld models, including keypad lock, channel scan, monitor mode and keystroke tones. It also has digital volume control and silent operation to mute beeps and tones when you need a little quiet time while driving on the road.

The MXT105 is also extremely versatile. Its ultra compact design allows you to mount it easily, either horizontally or vertically, almost anywhere in your vehicle. Its unique Display Flip function lets you mount the MXT105 upside down with full front panel functionality and without compromising the readability of its clear, bright backlit LCD display! The flip-frame detachable mount installs on or under your dash and allows you to quickly remove the radio from its bracket by simply and easily sliding it out.

The MXT105 includes a large internal speaker built right into the chassis for clear, crisp communications under noisy road conditions. Need an external speaker? No problem. There's a handy 3.5mm external audio jack in the back. The MXT105 also comes equipped with a high grade hand microphone connected to a coiled cord.

The Midland MXT105 includes hand microphone, mic holder, vehicle mount with hardware, detachable magnetic mount antenna with 19 feet of cable, 12V vehicle power adapter, owner's manual and a one year warranty from Midland.

Have purchased about 10 of these Base Stations, MXT105 and MXT115 for disaster work and very satisfied with them. Am really satisfied with the response I received from Midland Radio when I spoke to an engineer about a power supply connection and would have thought that would have just been given a product number and had to look for it on my own. He took my name and address and within three days received four power cords in the mail from the manufactor that met my unique needs. The support that Midland provided this customer of "Buy Two Way Radios" went way above what I had expected and showed how their suppliers support them and thus support their customers. Will continue to purchase and use these to fulfill my needs. Both Two way and Midland met this "customers needs".
