BOUGHT THIS DUPLEXER TO USE AS A BACK UP 12 VOLT MOBILE REPEATER (2 MOTOROLA SM-50) WITH A ID CONTROLER. THIS UNIT OPERATES JUST LIKE A FACTORY BUILT REPEATER. OUTSTANDING. I WILL BUY ANOTHER XLT DUPLEXER WHEN THEY ARE BACK IN STOCK. I HAVE DEALT WITH BUY TWOWAY RADIOS FOR MANY YEARS , THEY ARE GOOD PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH.

I asked them to tune it to my frequencies and they did made things so much easier Works great have a range of close to 30 miles depending or direction.

Nice compact size, the specs looked good on paper but in my experience, the insertion loss of >6dB on the low side was not usable.
Maybe I got a defective unit.
