I thought it would be loud. And it wasn't. Love the product, but its not loud at all.

  9. Could be much better. review by Powhoundus on 1/30/2011

I guess I need to try the ear piece option because our family had a hard time communicating with these at the ski hill. If you are near the base area with any noise at all, music, or if windy, forget it. You won't hear a thing. Everyone most speak very loudly and enunciate very clearly to communicate with these hand mics. I've used a Motorola hand mic on a similar radio that was far superior.

  10. Good for price review by Louis on 11/30/2010

  11. Doesn't work well review by Platoon Leader on 11/8/2010
    Rating

I couldn't hear out it very well, very distorted. No one could understand anything I said either.

  12. Not what i was expecting!! review by The Crown on 11/4/2010
    Rating

I tried this for our loading clerks in the yard and they absolutely hated it. They all said it was hard to hear from the small speaker and the plug that plugs into the radios kept pulling out because the tension on the coiled wire is too high. I would not recommend this for anyone in a noisy situation. Our loading clerks use forklifts and front end loaders which are not real noisy but it was hard to hear using these speakers.
